The previous day this value was 470.6 and a week ago 335.9. In the last 24 hours, they recorded 78,022 new cases of infection in Germany. Exactly a week ago, the daily increase was infected with 55,889.
According to Friday’s RKI report, the number of people in hospitals reached 3.23 per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days, a slight increase on the previous day (3.09). This data is not updated over the weekend. This number has risen again for the first time in a few days.
Data released on Saturday also showed that another 235 coronavirus people have died in the country in the last 24 hours. One week ago, there were 286 deaths. The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in Germany thus rose to 115,572.
