BRATISLAVA. PCR tests in Slovakia on Friday revealed 2,049 infected coronavirus. The laboratories evaluated 9,013 samples by RT-PCR. 342 people had a positive antigen test, 17 346 people tested.
Another 64 people succumbed to Covida, and a total coronavirus pandemic in Slovakia has claimed 17,252 victims.
It informed about it National Center for Health Information and the Ministry of Health.
There are currently 1,804 patients in hospitals with covid. There are 382 people in the intensive care units and anesthesiology departments, 191 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. Almost 82 percent of patients in hospitals are not vaccinated or have only one dose of vaccine.
The third dose vaccines yesterday, another 22,788 people (a total of 1,213,218), a second of 167 people (a total of 2,486,553) and a first of 3,171 people (a total of 2,771,444) received covid.
