Since 2 p.m. (this Friday, January 14, 2022), a “Testodrome” has been open on the site of the former Sainte-Marie clinic in Schoelcher. Every day from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., it will be possible to be tested, in this center managed by the Sant-Paul clinic and the civil protection association.

This screening offer consolidates all the current system which is in great demand. Queues are still just as long in private laboratories and pharmacies.

Viral circulation has accelerated. For the single day of Thursday, January 13, the health services in Martinique recorded 2325 new cases of covid.

Faced with the rapid spread of the omicron variant, the use of screening is now reaching record highs, with nearly 47,000 COVID tests carried out last week, compared to 30,000 the previous week.
