The asteroid 1994 PC1 will pass by our Earth on January 18, 2022, but don’t panic, humanity is in no danger, since it will cross space 2 million kilometers from us.
The end of the world is not for now, unlike the hit movie Don’t Look Up. Class “potentially dangerous“, the asteroid 1994 PC1 shouldn’t be a problem for the planet Earth, during its passage in the evening of January 18, 2022, around 10 p.m., 2 million kilometers from the blue planet.

The Nasa knows this asteroid well, already observed since 1974 according to West France, which is more than a kilometer long. It is a rock that could have created a real planetary catastrophe, but fortunately, it will pass away from us in a few days: 1.93 million kilometers, the equivalent of 5 times the distance between our planet and the Moon. Very dim, the asteroid cannot be observed easily with a telescope, unless you have a very powerful one. But some will be able to try the experience again because 1994 PC1 will pass close to planet Earth again in 84 years.
