The Citroen C5 Aircross has a new face, taillights and interior.

One of the most comfortable SUVs in its class continues and in the middle of the life cycle it receives an update of the exterior and interior. The model received a new front grille, new daylight graphics and an LED light strip connecting the logo with the lights. The front bumper has new shapes, the car tries to be emotionally wider and sportier. At the back, the changes are minimal, the lights have the same shape, but slightly different graphics.

Inside you can find a new dashboard with a widescreen central infotainment display, as we know from the C4 Aircross model. The C5 also has ten inches and the display protrudes at the highest point so that it is as visible as possible. It is important that the car has retained dedicated controls for air conditioning and other important elements, which are located below the display. The automatic mode selector is also new. Instead of a lever, there is only a recessed switch. Instead of the whole hand, or parts of it, you will handle the transmission with your finger, maybe two.

No revolution should take place under the hood. The models shown have a plug-in hybrid technique, which we already know from the current version. The hybrid should still complement the (smaller) calculation of the PureTech three-cylinder petrol engines, and as with the latest models of the concern, the presence of the diesel engine should be maintained here as well. I assume that in both cases it will be possible to combine it with a manual and automatic transmission.

The vehicle with updated cuckoo and technology is to go on sale and into the hands of the first customers this summer. So far, more than 200,000 customers have bought C5 Aircross in Europe.
