The former head of state material reserves, Kajetán Kičura, is still being investigated – TVNOVINY.sk

The investigation is still underway in the case of the accused executive of the State Material Reserves Administration (SŠHR) of the Slovak Republic, Kajetán Kičura. Confirmed by Andrea Dobiášová from the Presidium of the Police Corps. “The preparatory proceedings have not yet been completed,” Dobiášová said, adding that the police will not provide further information on the course of the investigation.

The former head of the SŠHR was released from custody by the prosecutor of the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s Office in October 2021 at the request of the investigator. He has been prosecuted since April 2020.

The National Criminal Agency initiated criminal proceedings for media information about the misconduct of SŠHR in procuring medical supplies in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic and the purchase of flats on Konventná Street in Bratislava in March 2020. Kajetán Kičura, who was also seized property with the contracts of the SHRR, as well as the suspicions associated with the two apartments that his son bought.
