Realme Smart Cam 360 ° test: a good camera to monitor your cat on vacation

By comparing the images obtained in infrared vision, those of the Realme camera appear sharper. The contrast is too high, however, here again, and results in the loss of information in both dark and light areas. In the event of an intrusion, it may in particular be more difficult to distinguish certain facial features of the perpetrator based on his complexion and hairiness on the images of the Smart Cam 360 ° than on those of the C6N, which manages the brightness much better. We were able to verify this with our face recognition test.

Realme’s camera did not allow us to identify anyone beyond 2m, while we estimated this distance to be 2.90m for Ezviz’s camera. The 360 ​​° Smart Cam also offers slightly less effective motion detection. Activities are detected from around 6 m, and even a little less when human recognition is activated, while the C6N manages to detect movement at nearly 8 m. Activation of infrared vision is also slow in both cases: you have to wait 5 to 6 s.
