Great search action! Three climbers were lost, who went to Gerlachovský štít – TVNOVINY.sk

Great rescue maneuvers in the High Tatras. From the ground and from the air, they search for three Polish climbers who went to Gerlachovský štít yesterday morning. The friends still managed to say on the phone that due to difficult conditions, their ascent through the Batizov test would take longer than planned, but they did not get to the car until midnight.

Their phones kept ringing, but neither of them responded and there were no SMS messages.

The location of their mobile phones showed that they are still in the mountains. They were not found in the Silesian House, so not only mountain and air rescuers, but also a squadron of the Ministry of the Interior took part in the search. In the Velická dolina, they dropped men from the Polish mountain service with a device for locating telephones. The ambition was to find them as soon as possible, as the frosts at these altitudes were almost twenty degrees.

It has not yet succeeded and so they continue their search.
