From Monday, January 10, the implementation of the measures will be carried out according to the new rules. On Monday, the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, the Institute of Health Analyzes of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, the ÚVZ SR and the regional ÚVZ will evaluate the current epidemiological situation and prepare a forecast of further development based on the data. On Tuesday, according to Eliáš’s Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, after negotiations with members of the expert council and on the basis of the current epidemiological situation, it will prepare a draft of measures.

On Wednesday, the Government of the Slovak Republic will review and approve new measures based on the proposal of the Ministry of Health, which will be presented to the public after the Government’s deliberations. The approved measures will apply, unless otherwise decided, from the middle of the following week. If necessary, ÚVZ SR will prepare and publish decrees on Sunday or even earlier. During the middle of next week, the new measures will enter into force unless the government decides on their earlier validity.

A new covid machine is being prepared

“However, due to the unpredictable development of the situation with the advent of the omicron variant and the risk of a rapid deterioration of the situation, new measures may also be introduced operationally,” Elijah approached.
