Roland romeyer explains that for the moment nobody has put the elements on the table for them to be studied by KPMG: “The problem is absolutely not how much we are going to resell our shares. I’m not making a big deal out of it. It is a problem of succession. What is important is to find someone capable of sustaining the club. For the moment, there is no one. Unfortunately no one. I have had meetings with candidates in Saint-Etienne, in Paris, in Switzerland… But when it’s time to put everything on the table and provide tangible elements to KPMG, nobody has done it. Currently, no one has filled in all the boxes.“

If he confides that the discussions are continuing, the Chairman of the Management Board wishes to respond to certain criticisms of which he is the subject with Bernard Caiazzo : “Neither Bernard nor I want a place in the future organization chart. On the contrary, some asked me to stay and I refused but they can always count on me 24 hours a day for advice, as I do with Jean-François Soucasse. We don’t want folding seats. I want to find happiness again seeing the club save itself and then grow. “

He ended up coming back not without cynicism on the situation of the club: “Today, the club belongs to two clowns (sic) who do not have the financial means to fight with the biggest teams in the championship: Paris, Monaco, Nice, Rennes… The club is in good working order. We don’t have a team to be champion but not to be last either. As long as the club is not sold, we will not be able to go higher than 10th place.“
