BRATISLAVA – The condition of the Slovak MMA fighter Miroslav Štrbák has stabilized after Wednesday’s heart attack. This was confirmed by his manager Nina Sedláková.

Štrbák suffered a heart attack directly during training at the Octagon Fighting Academy (OFA) club. After being transported to the hospital, his doctors managed to stabilize his condition. “We would like to take this opportunity to thank the rescuers for their approach, as well as Mir’s colleagues from OFA, who were the first to provide him. According to the attending physician, Mir’s current condition is stable, but he is still in artificial sleep. The doctor said that Miro was fighting. Today (Thursday afternoon) there are more positive prospects than they were yesterday. stated Štrbák’s manager Nina Sedláková.

The 32-year-old fighter is one of the most experienced “fighters” on the Slovak scene. In his professional career, he achieved 19 victories and 10 losses. So far, he completed his last match at the Oktagon 21 tournament in January 2021, when he defeated Karol Ryšavý for points.
