BRATISLAVA. When registering at vaccination against COVID-19 it is now possible to choose the date and time of vaccination. Although the registration system is similar to what has been the case so far, only in the form there is a possibility to choose a specific place of vaccination and date.

Until now, it was possible to enter only the approximate place of vaccination (region, district) during registration. The term was then assigned by the system.

According to Zuzana Eliášová, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, the applicant registers for vaccination via the website www.korona.gov.sk, from which it is subsequently redirected to the registration form of the National Center for Health Information.

“After entering personal data, the citizen first chooses his preferred district. He will then see all the vaccination sites in that district. Then he can choose the time of vaccination in the given vaccination center, “Eliášová added.

Registration is used for the first and third dose. The deadline for the second dose is sent automatically. Date and time range selection is possible for all age categories. “In children, however, naturally, only to vaccination centers that vaccinate the group, and only for vaccination with the first dose,” Eliášová said.

The choice of date can also be used by those interested in vaccination who have already registered for vaccination and are in the so-called waiting room. They will receive an appointment assigned automatically or they can modify their registration and request a specific appointment.

“Those interested in vaccinations can use the order for a specific date if they enter a maximum of 5 districts when registering. If they mark more districts, the system will put them in the waiting room and the date will be assigned to them automatically in the vaccination center in them. selected district, “Eliášová added.

In addition to vaccination through registration, it is still possible to use vaccination without registration. “However, we definitely recommend using registration.
