In “And Just Like That”, Chris Noth removed from final episode – The HuffPost

SERIES – He was supposed to reappear at the end of the season, but he won’t. This Wednesday, January 5, Hollywood Reporter revealed that the American actor Chris Noth was removed from the cut of the final episode of And Just Like That …, reboot of the cult series Sex and the City.

The 67-year-old actor, known primarily for his portrayal of Mr. Big in Darren Star’s hit comedy, had made a sneaky comeback, but noticed in the show’s first episode, in which he would die of a heart attack.

His sidelining from HBO production comes as he is currently facing sexual assault charges against four women. The latest, Lisa Gentile, said to have been the victim of touching, in 2002 in New York, on the part of Chris Noth. He allegedly became aggressive by forcibly kissing her after driving her back. Furious after she pushed him away, the actor is said to have left, threatening to “break his career”.

Three other women also testified in the press during the month of December. One of them says she was raped by Chris Noth in 2004 at the actor’s West Hollywood apartment. A second said she went on a date with him in New York in 2015. He then allegedly invited her to his apartment, where she claims she was assaulted. A third woman then reported to the Daily Beast of a sexual assault in 2010.

Chris Noth denies

For his part, the actor denies en bloc. Recently hit media headlines for the scene in the opening episode of And Just Like That … in which he appears, he believes that it is no coincidence that these accusations, first made anonymously by two women to the Hollywood Reporter, follow the media rush.

“The accusations leveled against me by people I have met years, if not decades ago, are categorically false,” Chris Noth said in a statement. “The relations were agreed”, he insists, before assuring: “No always means no – it’s a limit that I have not crossed.”

While the heroines of the series, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, say they are saddened and support the accusers of Chris Noth, the latter was also dismissed from the other series in which he played, The Equalizer. Advertisements for the Peloton bicycle brand with him were also removed from the screens.
