“We were a more active team from the first to the last minute. We decided on the result in the first period, but after that we warned the players that Prešov recently completed such an unsuccessful first period in Košice and managed to return to the match,” said Juraj Faith.

In the absence of defenders Vladimír Mihálik and Dávid Mudrák, the middle forward Jakub Suja moved on the defensive, whose performance and dedication were appreciated by the coaches. “I want to praise the whole team for the approach, but especially Jakub Suju, who managed the transition to defense and thus helped us a lot, as we had problems with the defenders. Maybe we extended his career a bit.” Faith remarked.

The coach Bokroš, whose charges lost the third match in a row, had other emotions. For the fourth time this season, they did not score a goal. “Today our team failed in terms of results and results. We played one of the worst matches of the season. I’m very sorry because I expected the new year to start better. But today we didn’t show anything at all and we deservedly lost.” said Bokroš.
