Jura Sud-ASSE: the match interrupted because of the smoke jets of the ultras of Saint-Etienne – RMC Sport

The 16th final of the Coupe de France between Jura Sud and Saint-Etienne was stopped for about twenty minutes, this Sunday in Louhans (Saône-et-Loire). The ASSE ultras have cracked many smoke bombs. One of them was thrown near the opposing goalkeeper.

They arrived a little late. And they got noticed very quickly. After investing their parking lot, the Saint-Etienne ultras cracked many smoke bombs during their team’s match against Jura Sud (National 2), this Sunday, in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France.

A meeting organized at the Bram de Louhans park, in Saône-et-Loire (8,500 places). Firecrackers and fireworks were also used by Saint-Etienne supporters. A smoke bomb was thrown on the ground, near Cédric Mensah, the guardian of Jura Sud.

Faced with this situation, Mr. Depechy decided to stop the match and send everyone back to the locker room shortly after kick-off. The interruption lasted a good twenty minutes. The time that the smoke descended on the lawn dissipates and calm returns (a little) in the visitors’ stand.
