The Southwest did not have the prerogative of abnormally high temperatures for a New Year’s Day. It was also very mild in the Massif Central (up to 19.6 ° C in Aurillac), in Burgundy (18.7 ° C in the Nièvre), in Normandy (16.8 ° C in Deauville) and in the Hauts-de-France (17.3 ° C in Calais).

A disturbance from Brittany will extend over the north of New Aquitaine (Poitou-Charentes and Gironde), possibly causing some showers.
