Covid today France, masks from 6 years old

Starting from Monday, in France, the obligation to wear the mask in public will start from the age of 6. The latest anticovid squeeze was decided with a decree dated December 31 and published today by the official gazette, according to the French media. Until now, the mask had to be worn from the age of 11. The measure is imposed while the high number of infections fueled by the omicron variant, with a record of over 223 thousand cases on 31 December, casts a shadow on the resumption of schools after the Christmas holidays.
