In Slovakia, 4243 PCR positive people were added. Almost 68 percent of them have not been vaccinated. They performed 16258 tests. Their positivity reached 26 percent. Seven days ago, the positivity of PCR assays was 24.9 percent.

The most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Žilina Region (691), followed by Bratislavský (656), Prešovský (593), Trenčiansky (546), Košický (495), Trnavský (463), Nitriansky (402) and Banskobystrický (397). .

There are 2,034 men and 2,209 women among them. The total number of positively tested men is 396,227 and women 434,866.

802 people had a positive antigen test, almost 72 percent of whom were not vaccinated. They performed 26,075 antigen tests.

There are 2473 patients in the hospitals. There are 485 patients at JIS and OAIM, 248 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. Almost 84 percent of those hospitalized are not vaccinated or have only one dose of vaccine.
