Coronavirus: 1,074 new cases and 46 covid deaths in Slovakia – SME.sk

The laboratories performed 4,201 PCR tests.

BRATISLAVA. In Slovakia, PCR tests revealed 1,074 cases of infection on Friday coronavirus. They tested 4,201 samples in laboratories.

Another 46 people died of Covid-19, and a total coronavirus pandemic in Slovakia claimed 16,336 victims.

The National Health Information Center informs about it.

Most cases from PCR testing were detected in the Trnava region (216) and the least in the Prešov region (27).

The number of hospitalized dropped by seven, there are 2,623 people in hospitals with covid. 244 patients need support for artificial lung ventilation.

The vaccination centers were on Christmas Day. However, those interested in the first dose were added again vaccines. 6,412 people are registered in the waiting room.
