Migrants, at least 16 dead in the Aegean Sea

At least 16 people died when a boat carrying migrants overturned across the Aegean Sea. The accident that took place in the late evening of December 24 leads to at least 30 victims registered in Greek waters in the last 3 days. The routes from Turkey to Italy are increasingly beaten. According to the Guardian, 62 people were rescued late Friday evening about 8 km off the coast of the island of Paros. Survivors report that at least 80 people were on board.
