Coronavirus: There were 4,679 new cases and 51 covid deaths in Slovakia – SME.sk

BRATISLAVA. In Slovakia, PCR tests revealed 4,679 cases of infection on Thursday coronavirus. They tested 17,934 samples in laboratories.

The National Health Information Center informs about it (NCZI).

Most new cases were detected by PCR tests in the Žilina Region, 731 people had a positive test, in the Bratislava Region 678, in the Košice Region 644, in the Prešov Region 623, in the Trnava Region 570, in the Trenčín Region 532, in the Nitra Region 472, in the Banská Bystrica Region 429.

Another 51 people died from Covid-19, and a total coronavirus pandemic in Slovakia claimed 16,290 victims.
