France could have their first professional match postponed due to the Covid this season.
The Girondins de Bordeaux have several of their players positive during the tests at the start of the week, and those made this Wednesday morning could tip the scales. Five players are already forfeited for the match scheduled for this Wednesday evening against Lille, for the last of the year 2021. If the Girondins do not have 20 players including a goalkeeper on the list of 30 provided at the start of the season on the day of the match, the postponement can be recorded. The decision should therefore fall in the afternoon as the cases multiply in France, but professional football, on the field as in the stands, has rather been spared at this time.
