AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000 CPUs for next March, up to 64 Cores and 128 Threads – Cowcotland

We have been waiting for the Threadripper 5000, but no matter how much we look for them, they are missing subscribers. The largest of the processors in 5000 is the RYZEN 9 5950X with its 16 cores and 32 threads. To have more than 16 cores, the only solution is the AMD RYZEN Threadripper 3990X in 64 cores and 128 threads, but we are on the previous generation in ZEN2.

So we look forward to the Threadripper 5000 which should normally arrive in 64 cores and 128 threads.

We should normally find the TR PRO 5995WX in 64C / 128T, TR PRO 5975WX in 32C / 64T, TR PRO 5965WX in 24C / 48T, TR PRO 5955WX in 16C / 32T and finally the TR PRO 5945WX in 12C / 24T. CPUs which will all be in 280 watts of TDP, PCI Express 4.0 and 8-channel DDR4, but which we do not know much about at the moment.

If in fact, we learn today that the processors could be announced at the next CES for a launch on March 8, 2022. It seems very late, but maybe AMD will offer us a fineness of engraving in 6nm rather than 7nm.
