Covid, only 10 countries without infections: 274 million cases in the world

There are 273,900,334 cases of coronavirus confirmed in the world since the beginning of the pandemic, for a total of 5,351,812 deaths, of which over 45 thousand in the last week. This is what the data of the World Health Organization indicate, which see the United States at the top of the sad ranking of infections and deaths, with 50,415,500 confirmed cases and over 800 thousand deaths. If the virus is spread over almost the entire planet, according to the WHO there would still be 10 countries or territories still ‘Covid-free’. The list includes: North Korea, on whose reliability, however, numerous doubts are raised; Kiribati; Micronesia; Nauru; and Niue. The latter four, all island states found in the Pacific. The Pitcairn Islands and St. Helena Island, both British Overseas Territories, the New Zealand territory of Tokelau, the Tuvalu archipelago and Turkmenistan also appear in the list of places where Covid cases have not yet been officially detected.
