In Slovakia, we have a lockdown from Katarína, which is also related to the curfew. At first, people could not leave the house all day, but there were several exceptions. However, these rules changed at the end of the week, and after the new one, the curfew only applies at night, from 8 pm to 5 am the next day.

Although it is the last weekend before Christmas and many are afraid of the arrival of a new variant of omicron, some do not worry about the measures. What’s more, in Bratislava it looks like there isn’t even a lockdown. For the second year in a row, due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are no Christmas markets in the center of the capital, which thousands of people come to every day. That’s why people have made Christmas markets their own way. Since the establishments can operate in the window mode, they decided to use this option and offer people typical Christmas delicacies such as gypsy roasts, punch. And so extensive councils are formed in the city.
