When the Mladá Boleslav carmaker presented its first ever purely electric operation to the world in September last year, but it was developed and built as an electric car from the very beginning, it meant the beginning of a completely new era for the manufacturer.

Until then, only the redesigned Citigo combustion model was in Škoda’s portfolio, which subsequently replaced the conventional power unit with an electric motor (Citigo-e iV), similar to other models from the Seat Mii and Volkswagen Up!

“The Enyaq iV marks the beginning of a new era for Škoda. It is our first electric model built on a modular electromobility kit, with which we make Simply Clever electric mobility – with long range, short charging times, simple operation and affordable prices.” Thomas Schäfer, Chairman of the Board of Škoda Auto, said during the debut.

In the past, we have already managed to try Enyaq on the first Slovak rides or in a classic editorial test, where he always left positive impressions of the ride, efficiency, technologies used and the spaciousness offered. After the launch of the model, even a special Founders Edition was available, which further enhanced the attractive appearance of the model and could please the limited 1,895 owners.
