It was a real thunderclap in the investigation of the murder of Delphine Jubillar, this Tarn nurse who disappeared since the night of December 15 to 16, 2020, in Cagnac-les-Mines, in the Tarn. One year, to the day, after the disappearance of the 33-year-old nurse whose body has still not been found, it is therefore the new companion of her husband, already heard last June, who is found under the fires questions from investigators. She is suspected of “complicity in the concealment of a corpse”. Investigators are trying to find out what Cédric Jubillar, Delphine’s husband, told him about his wife’s disappearance. According to them, Séverine L. could have information or have gathered the confidences of the husband about the murder of which he is accused.

An intimate relationship that begins in mid-April

Cédric Jubillar and Séverine L. have known each other for fifteen years when the Jubillar couple lived in Arthès, before settling in Cagnac-les-Mines. At that time, the plaster craftsman was above all very good friends with one of Séverine’s sons. It is only after the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar that Cédric and Séverine resume contact to seal a new friendship which leads, in mid-April, to a more intimate relationship.

“If it’s him, he hides his game well”

During the arrest of Cédric Jubillar, on June 16, Séverine was heard by the investigators. Despite doubts about Cédric’s real actions, she does not accuse him of anything. “If it’s him, he hides his game well,” she confides to investigators. In this period of doubt, she would have asked Cedric what he had done with his wife. He replies, “I buried her on the farm that burned down.” A response tinged with derision and dark humor, as usual.

Jubillar case, one year later: for Lolita, Delphine’s cousin, “we can’t mourn, we no longer have hope”

The days which follow his imprisonment, Cédric Jubillar remains in contact with Séverine but only by exchanges of letters which are read and dissected by justice. On social networks, Séverine exchanges a lot and comments on the different legal stages, also posting videos, conducting personal research to try to find a lead. Is it during these exchanges that she would have poured herself out to a third party on a possible concealment of Delphine’s body, which she would have concealed voluntarily?

Six other people, including detainees, were heard by investigators as witnesses. They were released during the day. Relatives of Cédric Jubillar were also auditioned. Séverine L’s custody can last until Friday morning.
