We have less than two weeks until Christmas, but we can already indicate what the weather on Christmas Day and the holidays might look like. We are all interested in whether there will be snow and we will be able to go skiing or sledding.

We haven’t had a white Christmas everywhere for years. It probably won’t be any different during this year’s holidays. But there will be one change. The graphs so far suggest that this year is not going to be typical Christmas warming, as we have been used to for years.

“Pranostika, who says that wait for Adam and Eva, will probably not be fulfilled this year,” meteorologist Jozef Iľko explained for TVNOVINY.sk. So there will be no Christmas break. According to him, however, there is a very small probability that we will see a new amount of snow. “Snow can fall in the north and east in the coming days. However, it will rather be a snow shower, “adds the meteorologist.

Christmas on ice

Next week, temperatures will range from 0 to 5 degrees. However, according to Jozef Iľek, they will be lower next week.

In most areas we can expect all-day frost. There is therefore a better chance that Christmas will be on the ice. Whites will probably only be in the southwest of Slovakia, where the snow cover will be maintained.
