Presentation of the platform model dedicated to national consultation – Business News

During the ministerial council chaired by the Head of State, Monday, December 13, 2021, a draft of the platform dedicated to the national consultation was presented.

The portal should make it possible to collect the various opinions and visions of Tunisians and would serve as an “electronic referendum”. We can observe that the consultation is structured around six themes: political and electoral affairs, economic and financial affairs, social affairs, sustainable development, health and quality of life and finally education and culture.

Among the questions that could be observed in the presentation, some are linked to the standard of living, others to entrepreneurship or even to the place granted to women in public affairs.

The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, had instructed the Ministry of Communication Technologies to prepare a draft electronic referendum.

This referendum would serve as a tool for dialogue with the Tunisian people and would be part of a comprehensive approach whose objective is to put an end to the state of emergency, explained Kaïs Saïed.

” Tunisia has entered a new phase different from the previous ones. We all have to forge new working tools. The human mind has evolved and so has political culture, but some notions have remained the same. The national dialogue we are talking about, we need to find new mechanisms “, He underlined.
