During Monday’s meeting, EU foreign ministers are also preparing to discuss the deteriorating economic and humanitarian situation in Afghanistan following the withdrawal of US troops. The EU’s agenda for China will be on the agenda after Beijing imposed customs sanctions on Lithuania for Vilnius’s attempts to forge closer ties with Taiwan. Ministers will also address the situation in Venezuela and EU-Africa relations. Slovakia will be represented at the meeting in Brussels by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs Ivan KorĨok.
