PEZINOK. Half a million euros from the crime of the late František Böhm will be confiscated from the state.

The Special Criminal Court in Pezinok ruled on Monday. He complied with the prosecutor’s proposal. The decision is not final.

“The specialized criminal court orders the confiscation of the case, amounting to 500,000 euros, the state becomes the owner of the confiscated case,” said a judge of the Specialized Criminal Court.

Money from crime

“The subject of the proceedings was to prove that the act had been a criminal offense, committed by the accused and the money that came from the crime,” the judge clarified.

Neither the wife nor the son of the deceased attended the meeting. They apologized and asked for it to take place in their absence. They have three days to lodge a complaint.

The Prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor’s Office, Michal Šúrek, waived the right to file a complaint.

Böhm died in February

During a hearing in 2020, Böhm said that the half a million euros he had voluntarily spent in criminal proceedings came from the crime he had committed. Prosecution against him was stopped, as he died in February after he was shot in the village of Plavecký Štvrtok.

Judas and Texans were to cooperate with the police in the investigation. The allegations also concerned cooperation with a criminal group of such people.

He also had to testify about the alleged bribery of the former police president Milan Lučanský, who died on December 30, 2020, after attempting suicide the day before in custody.
