Miss Universe 2021 is in its 70th year

Miss Universe finalists from all over the world take part in it every year, and in this year’s ceremonial final 80 beautiful and intelligent women fought for the victory. There was also a finalist from Slovakia, who also presented a piece of our culture. However, the 70th year was something different, exceptional.

The finalist from India beat all competitors

In the last round, only three competitors fought for the prestigious title and crown of beauty – Nadia Ferreira for Paraguay, Lalela Mswane for South Africa and Harnaaz Sandhu for India. Only one of them and Miss Jury could become Miss Universe in the end, Harnaaz Sandhu won.

Harnaaz Sandhu was very moved after the announcement of the results. The highest finalist in the history of Miss Universe is from Slovakia

Silvia Lakatošová, who organizes the Mis Universe competition in Slovakia, sent 26-year-old Veronika Ščepánková from the previous year to fight in Israel, as the announcement of the winner of 2021 was postponed. Veronika specializes in modeling and has a bachelor’s degree in business.
