In some Slovak municipalities, there will be more extensive power outages next week. Miroslav Gejdoš, a spokesman for the Central Slovak Distribution (SSD), informed about it.

The reason is the planned reconstruction of the high voltage line, the connection of a new transformer station and the installation of a special control element of the distribution system.

Approximately 2,000 households in the districts of Ilava, Tvrdošín and Dolný Kubín will experience outages. IN Tvrdošíne on Tuesday, December 14, from 7.00 am to 6.30 pm, the streets of Krásna Hôrka, Vojtaššákova, Breziny, Farská, Hviezdoslavova, Janka Matuška, MR Štefánik, Múčna, Staničná and Železničná will be affected. The shutdown will affect approximately 550 collection points.

In the district Dolný Kubín The electricity shutdown on Wednesday 15 December awaits the villages of Pribiš, Pucov, Pokryváč, Osádka and Malatiná from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm. The reason for the restriction will be the reconstruction of the high voltage overhead line between Pokryváč and Osádka, which will contribute to increasing the quality and safety of electricity distribution for customers in this area.

In the villages Košeca a Košecké Podhradie in the Ilavský district, the planned power outage will take place on Friday, December 17, from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm. Approximately 650 households will be left without electricity during the installation of a remote-controlled high-voltage circuit breaker.

“In all cases, power outages are essential to the nature of the planned work and, in particular, to safety. If the circumstances allow, the employees of Stredoslovenská distribučná will end the individual outages in a shorter time, “ said Miroslav Gejdoš.
