“He finds himself in boxer shorts”: Muriel Reus recounts the very embarrassing scene she experienced against PPDA – Closer France

Accused of sexual assault and rape by several women, Patrick Poivre d’Arvor is at the heart of the controversy. In its latest issue, Seven to Eight, received Muriel Reus, at the time deputy director of a subsidiary of TF1. Facing the camera, the young woman, who had been invited to attend the 20 hours of the presenter before being taken to his office, agreed to confide. “He arrives after a little while, he barely says hello to me and he goes to his office to sort some papers. His assistant said to him: ‘Patrick, it’s 9 p.m., I’m leaving.’ She leaves the room and closes the door. At that moment, he turns to me, he does not speak to me, I do not remember having exchanged words with him … And he will lock the door.é“, she recalled, before adding:”Two seconds later, he is in front of me, he tries to kiss me and at the same time, he undoes his pants and he finds himself in underwear.“

Faced with this situation, Muriel Reus managed to stop Patrick Poivre d’Arvor. She explained: “For a moment, my brain makes me wonder, saying to myself: ‘But how am I going to get out of this situation? How does this character who represents what he represents find himself in this situation that I find pathetic, since there was no exchange, no seduction, no openness … ‘ And I said to him at that moment: ‘But Patrick, what are you doing, and in addition, you know my links with the general management of this house, and with Patrick Le Lay in particular ? ‘ And so at that point, it stopped him dead. He got dressed, I avoided looking, we got out, he walked me back to the elevator, and I left.“Faced with investigators, the former presenter would have assured:”Maybe I offered to have sex, but not that way.“

Muriel Reus had alerted Patrick Le Lay

Shocked by the presenter’s attitude, the young woman revealed: “The next morning, I called Patrick Le Lay, so I called the presidency, to tell him what had happened the day before. It seemed important to me to share that anyway. He said to me: ‘Oh no, he didn’t dare with you too!’ And so this formulation makes me answer him: ‘So if you tell me that, that means that you are aware of what is going on.’ And he replies: ‘Yes, we have heard a number of things, but I’m taking care of it!’“While the reporter from Seven to Eight asked him what happened then, Muriel Reus replied: “Well, apparently nothing happened!“
