Indeed, Kylian Mbappé becomes quite simply the first player since Jean-Pierre Papin in 1989 and 1991 to reach twice the bar of 40 goals for clubs in a calendar year, by counting the five big European championships. Scorers of the caliber of Thierry Henry, David Trezeguet or Nicolas Anelka have never managed to do so hard!
