There was an act of state terrorism in Slovakia. The chairman of Smer-SD, Robert Fico, said this on Saturday in connection with the case of videos from the hunting lodge. According to him, investigators and prosecutors of the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s Office should have committed it. He is therefore filing a criminal complaint.

In addition to the criminal complaint, Fico also submits a complaint to the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic. He claims that his rights as a private person have been “significantly violated”. It also requests that the recordings from the cottage be deleted.

He described the case as dangerous because, from start to finish, the interception took place in cooperation with law enforcement authorities.

According to him, the main goal of the interception was to find any information about the extension of the custody of businessman Miroslav Bödör and the former police president and accused Tibor G. Fico offered cooperation with Smer-SD. Tibor G. reacted to the press conference that he wanted to focus mainly on his defense.

The head of Smer thinks that the aim of the interception was to discredit the defense and the opposition. Fico claims that manipulations with criminal proceedings are taking place in Slovakia. “If no one wants to acknowledge other evidence, then this act of state terrorism, that is, illegal interception in the cottage, is, in my opinion, the most important evidence of criminal proceedings in Slovakia to the detriment of people who have worked with the opposition, opposition parties or nominees of these parties. “

An opposition MP accused the governing coalition of trying to avenge the opposition. She also accuses her of abusing the means of criminal law to fight the political opposition.
