Coronavirus: There were 5,832 new cases and 68 covid deaths in Slovakia – SME.sk

BRATISLAVA. PCR tests revealed 5,832 new cases of the disease in Slovakia on Friday coronavirus. The laboratories performed 18,382 PCR tests.

It informed about it National Center for Health Information.

The most positive cases were in the Košice region, PCR tests detected 936 infected, 796 infected in the Bratislava region, 789 in the Trenčín region, 731 in the Banská Bystrica region, 702 in the Trnava region, 649 in the Prešov region, 638 in the Žilina region and 591 in the Nitra region.

Another 68 people died of Covid-19. In total, the coronavirus pandemic in Slovakia has claimed 15,304 victims.

3,342 patients are hospitalized with hospitals in hospitals. 37 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation.
