Best performance of the season: Paulína Fialková has the first points, sprint in Hochfilzen was dominated by Solová – Športky

HOCHFILZEN – Belarus’s Hanna Solová won her first place in the Biathlon World Cup when she triumphed in the sprint in Hochfilzen, Austria on Friday. Thanks to clean shooting, she also had a comfortable lead of 46.8 seconds over the French Justine Braisaz-Bouchet and 50.3 seconds over the third Norwegian, Marte Olsbu Röiseland, who moved to the forefront of the fight for the big crystal globe.

The Slovak national team player Paulína Fialková recorded the best performance of the season, she was in 34th place, when she missed one target on each of the two items and came to the finish line with a deficit of 2: 04.5 min. For the second time in the year, she scored points in the World Cup. Ivone Fialková missed the place in the fighter race by 2.5 seconds, when she was in 62nd place after one mistake in lying down and three in standing position. Mária Remeňová also passed four times in total and took 106th place.

So far, Solová has had three places in her career in the third place, one of them came in the previous sprint in Östersund, Sweden. Braisazová-Bouchetová recorded the best result of the season, she has a total of 11 places on the podium. Röiseland followed the triumph of the fighter in Östersund and took over the yellow jersey from the home Lisa Theresa Hauser, who ranked 26th to Friday.
