CORONAVÍRUS More than 6,000 new cases discovered in Slovakia: 57 people died – Topky.sk

In Slovakia, 6,620 people with a positive PCR test were added last day, of whom almost 73% were not vaccinated. Regarding antigen testing, 904 were positive, more than 70% of whom were not vaccinated. Yesterday, 19,585 RT-PCR tests and 26,822 antigen tests were completed.

The total number of completed laboratory PCR tests so far is 4,825,139, with 764,112 tested positive. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 40,635,497, of which 508,879 have been tested positively.

The most positive were in the Bratislava region

The most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Bratislava region (1,040), followed by Trenčiansky (967), Trnavský (926), Žilinský (870), Košický (755), Nitriansky (741), Prešovský (669) and Banskobystrický (652). ). There are 3,156 men and 3,464 women among them. The total number of positively tested men is 363,964 and women 400,148.

There are almost 300 people with lung ventilation

There are 3,434 patients in hospitals and confirmed COVID-19 disease. Almost 82.85% of those hospitalized are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 592 patients in the JIS and OAIM wards, 295 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims of the pulmonary form of COVID-19 increased by 57 people. The total number of “Covid” deaths is 15,236 and the total number of “Covid” deaths is 2,790.
