ELECTED. The police were called in the morning this morning to a traffic accident near Zolná, during which human life was extinguished. Two cars ended up off the road; one upside down on the roof, the other on the side.

The police have not released more information on the grounds that they will provide details when the situation allows.

The accident, in which the car flew out of the road and remained overturned on the roof, happened after midnight, about three o’clock in the morning, on the state road 1/51 at the turn to Stará Hora near Sebechleby.

“There were two participants in the accident at the scene, one of them is injured,” said Jozef Fekiač from the Fire and Rescue Corps Operations Center in Banská Bystrica.

Firefighters had to free him from the crashed car and also provided him with pre-medical first aid.
