Weather alert: floods, floods, snow and ice … 11 departments still on orange alert – LCI

Be careful, the weather promises to be bad, even very bad. Météo-France has placed theAin in orange vigilance this Thursday evening for snow and ice. It thus joins the neighboring departments of the Savoy and some Haute-Savoie, which are also on avalanche alert, just like theIsere.

These are in addition to the five departments of the Pyrenees already placed in orange avalanche vigilance since noon: Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, Haute-Garonne, Ariège, Andorra and Pyrénées-Orientales. Note that Andorra is also concerned.

In addition, earlier in the morning, two departments were placed on rain-flood vigilance: Landes and the Gers. And two others in vigilance for floods: Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées (also therefore in avalanche alert).
