PETROHRAD – Juventus Turin footballers advanced to the eighth finals of the Champions League 2021/2022 from the first place of the H-group. In Wednesday’s match of the final 6th round, Malmö defeated FF 0-0 at home thanks to the intervention of Moise Kean from the 18th minute and the group won with a two-point lead over the second Chelsea London. The defending champion drew 3: 3 on Zenit St. Petersburg in a parallel match, when he lost the victory in the fourth minute of the set time after the goal of Magomed Ozdoyev.

Both Chelsea and Juventus had previously secured promotion to the LM eight-finals and only played 1st place in the group at a distance. In the end, the game opened, Azizoun’s header was neutralized by Arrizabalaga. Six minutes before the end of regular time, Werner did not beat Keržakov’s header yet, but a few moments later he received a pass and after a quick pass he put the ball to the post – 2: 3. However, Chelsea did not win, in the fourth minute of the set time he decided on the final division of points Ozdojev – 3: 3.

Juventus maintained the music in the match with the Swedish champion from the beginning and opened the score in the 18th minute, when Moise Kean scored the head after Federico Bernardeschi’s center. The favorite also controlled the course in the second half, but was no longer successful in the end. Adrien Rabiot hit the side net and then threw three big chances with first-goal author Kean. Despite a large majority, the Turin did not add more goals, the point behind the match was given by the missed opportunity of the substitute Juan Cuadrad, who shot the goal.
