Tanzania: an app to prevent dropping out of school

These African women who advance science (3/6). Neema Mduma is a Tanzanian researcher who is interested in the issue of dropout in secondary schools in her country. She created an application called “BakiShule”, based on machine learning, allowing teachers and parents to identify and support students in a situation of school failure.
