Although it was first shown to the world in a version for the American or Asian market, later came the expected revelation of a European version. At the end of this summer, the Korean carmaker Kia presented to the public a new generation of its customers’ favorite and, from the point of view of the offer, also key brand model.

Thus, for the first time in its 28-year history, the Kia Sportage sports utility vehicle received a special version designed and developed specifically to meet the specific needs of Europeans and finally entered the Slovak market before the end of 2021.

We are currently getting to know the official prices for local customers, while the Kia Slovakia plant in Žilina will take care of the production. It will produce not only versions with front-wheel drive, but also all four wheels, as well as versions with hybrid technology in the bowels of the model, as well as versions with petrol or diesel.

Striking appearance and technologically charged interior

With its newly designed design, the fifth generation of the popular SUV can attract at least as much as its Korean sibling Tucson from the Hyundai brand. Both vehicles boast a truly unconventional, striking appearance, primarily at the front. This is where the massive radiator grille stretches across the entire width of the “nose”, while it is complemented by large daytime running lights or pentagonal headlights.
