8:33 – USA: In the United States, a full 60 percent of the population is fully vaccinated against covid-19. This is according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

7:52 – VACCINATION YEAR: In a year, covid-19 vaccines saved the lives of thousands of people, especially those aged 60+. Patients in this age group have been among the most at risk since the onset of the pandemic.

The level of vaccination in Slovakia is low compared to other EU countries. The government wants to increase it with a financial incentive of 300 euros in cash for people after the third dose and promises 200 euros to seniors who will be vaccinated with the first dose.

If the financial incentive does not work, it is possible that the Slovak Republic, like other countries, will proceed with compulsory vaccination against covidid.
