The Grand Prize for political humor awarded to Marlène Schiappa – LCI

Marlène Schiappa succeeds Édouard Philippe. The Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Interior, in charge of Citizenship, received the Grand Prix for political humor 2021 on Tuesday from the jury of the prize “Press Club, humor and politics”. This award is due to a sentence uttered over the microphone of Radio J when she defended her bill to fight against polygamy. “We are not going to forbid threesomes”, she had then indicated.

Marlène Schiappa was not the only member of the government to receive an award during this evening. Roselyne Bachelot, Minister of Culture, was awarded the Marcel Duchamp Prize for the phrase “As my grandfather used to say, better to have people in his tent and peeing outside than the other way around”. For his part, the Internet User Prize was awarded to Prime Minister Jean Castex who declared “The less we feed the self-supporting polemics, the better we are”.

Emmanuel Macron has not escaped a reward either. The Sigmund Freud Prize was awarded to him for his response to a farmer during her visit to a fair in Provence: “The pension reform, we will do that when we fall the masks”, declared the President of the Republic.

At the same time, the Prize for revelation of the year was awarded to Sandrine Rousseau, candidate for the ecological primary, for the phrase “I live with a deconstructed man and I am super happy”. The Game Prize “Miot” and the Special Jury Prize were awarded to Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former Prime Minister. “When the line hardens, it shrinks”, he had said. In addition, the Jury Prize is awarded to the sovereignist presidential candidate, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, for his declaration: “I am strong with people who are on the verge of voting.”
