Slovak forward Adam Ružička he needed two Calgary games this season to make himself known. He scored his first goal in the NHL in a game against San Jose on Tuesday.

In the fifth minute of the second period, Ružička scored Chris Tanev’s goal to increase the lead to 3: 1. At that point, he became the 70th Slovak to score in the Canadian-American competition. In the end, he was not happy about the victory. The Sharks turned 5: 3.

The 22-year-old Bratislava native scored in the second match of the season and the fifth in his career. He assisted once in three last season duels. Flames drafted him in 2017 out of a total of 109th place.
