Orientation is the worst time to be eliminated, right?

It’s clear ! Especially since I did not expect it. I really thought that I was going to master this test like the previous times. After, when we see the three finalists, these are three candidates who had already passed the orientation to go to the posts. So the standard was very high. And I was not fast enough, not smart enough, and it cost me my place on the posts. Especially since I wanted her, this one.

You were the last woman in the running. Did that put extra pressure on you?

No, because it was no longer a question of gender at this stage. We were first and foremost adventurers. Afterwards, we all dreamed that there would be a man and a woman in the final. It would have been ideal. But I didn’t put that pressure on myself, no.

If there were not more women in the orientation, it is also because you were less united than the men on this “Koh-Lanta”, right?

Completely ! The problem is that for the most part we did not know each other, apart from Christelle and Clémence, whom I had known on “The return of the heroes”, in 2009. And with the others, I did not manage to create connection, I am thinking for example of Alix. Among the boys, on the other hand, there were a lot of friendships and that really counted in the game. So their unity was much stronger than ours.

Do you regret the very strong tensions between candidates, especially during advice?

What turned everything upside down was when you can’t get rid of a boy and two girls vote for other girls. From there, that feminine alliance was over and I knew Coumba was going to drop the case. She had said it well: it was all together, or no one. And she was right. Because opposite, the boys wanted to eliminate the girls, even if they never declared it. And the reveal of the Girls’ Pact gave them good reason to do so.

Conversely, you have created strong friendships with the boys. With Namadia, for example, whom you swore to avenge after her elimination …

While I did not know any when I arrived, yes. Namadia, I got closer to him naturally. For me, he was the person to ally with. We don’t know it, we don’t see it, but he was the one who mastered the game. He mastered the Red team and he mastered the reunification team. His only mistake was that he absolutely did not want to vote against Alix. I didn’t find her reliable, I felt she was capable of anything. And he didn’t want to because we were a majority of reds. He wanted to eliminate yolks first, and then eliminate Alix when the time came. And in the end, she voted against him and got him eliminated.

It is therefore three boys, Claude, Laurent and Ugo, who will compete on the posts. Even though he’s 100% male, they’re a dream trio, right?

It’s true. Ugo, who was knocked out first, who comes back, gets knocked out again and comes back again to gain orientation, it’s really magical. Like him, Laurent has already won once and on this adventure, he fought well, he deserved his place despite a few hiccups. And Claude… He’s the master of “Koh-Lanta”, what! Even if there is no girl, it is indeed a great threesome.

Claude has already let it be known that he would not do “Koh-Lanta” again. What about you, Jade?

Me, it’s over. I did the tour! I came to 24 in 2007 being a warrior who played only to win. The second, in 2009, it was the same and I narrowly missed my second victory. This time, the third time, I suffered a lot more from the game, but it helped me find myself, to tell myself that it is in the difficulty that I am the best. That I need a challenge in life to move forward. I didn’t win, but my torch was never extinguished. So it’s good to stop there.
