Whoops ! Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (again) confirmed in error

The official support page for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G was put online by the manufacturer before being quickly withdrawn. Too late…

Will come out… will not come out? For several months, the question has arisen around the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. While rumors initially predicted it during the month of August, the Korean smartphone is still pending and it is now whispering that it could be announced on January 4, during CES 2022. One thing is certain: the telephone does exist.

A support page for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G

As often happens, Samsung accidentally published a page on its site dedicated to the Galaxy S21 FE 5G in advance. Since then, the page has been removed, but the Internet remembers everything and it is still possible to consult it thanks to Internet Archive.

The page in question doesn’t reveal much about the phone itself, other than confirmation of its design, already seen through leaks as well as its product reference: SM-G990E. Not too many surprises therefore, especially at the aesthetic level, since this Galaxy S21 FE 5G takes up the main lines of the Samsung galaxy s21 classic. We find in particular at the back three cameras arranged vertically in a block that embraces the edges of the phone.

Note that this is not the first time that Samsung has mentioned the Galaxy S21 FE. Samsung France had already cited it in a visual for a YouTube Premium promotion this summer, before discreetly remove it from the list a few weeks later.

A partly known technical sheet

The page published by Samsung does not reveal the technical sheet of the Galaxy S21 FE, but the many rumors about it already allow us to draw a robot portrait of this phone. It would be a question of a Full HD + AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.41 inches with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 888 coupled with 6 GB of RAM as well as 128 to 256 GB of storage, a 4500 mAh battery and three 12 Megapixel photo sensors (for wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto x2).

The telephone having been postponed by 6 months, nothing however indicates that certain points have not been reviewed in the meantime. Answer at the beginning of January.
