But in recent weeks, the health situation linked to covid-19 deteriorates again in France, with the consequence of a new increase in hospitalizations. According to the latest data published by Public health France this November 30, 2021, there are now in the country 10,249 patients with covid-19 hospitalized, or 389 more than the day before. Disturbing figures that the health authorities are monitoring closely. “The situation is worsening on the epidemic front“moreover confided the Minister of Health Olivier Véran this Tuesday, during the questioning session in the National Assembly. That “continues to mark an increase in the spread of the virus on the national territory, with an average number of contaminations per day which exceeds 30,000 and which could be, if we continue this dynamic, of more than 60% per week, higher than the peak of the 3rd wave by the end of the week“, he added

In addition, in total, 1,824 Covid-19 patients are still hospitalized in the wards critical care, against 1,749 the day before. As a reminder, 2,294 people infected with covid-19 were in intensive care as of September 1, 2021. On the other hand, 114 new deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

On the side of new contaminations, according to figures from Public Health France, the epidemic recovery is strong since 47,000 new infections have been identified over the past 24 hours.
